There is a cafe in Tokyo, where women get tiaras and can ring a bell for service. Not to mention all of the servers respond to the bell "Yes, my princess". Sometimes I try really hard not to roll my eyes... fail.
The interesting part was all of the wait staff are westerners, because "being a gentleman is embarrassing for Japanese men." Note that there are only two people in the whole restaurant.

So this seems silly, but is it really different from going to a spa or getting a manicure or some other place where you feel pampered? The real question is do we have to go away from our homes to feel this way? I suppose every once in a while.........
