Saving energy, google-style

Google.org is working on an application that would tell you how your house uses its power, in real time. Powermeter could be used to analyze your power usage, indicate where you could save power (and hence money), and share your usage with others to organize "friendly competition."

The graph [above] shows how someone could use this information to figure out how much energy is used by different household activities.

It is not available to the public yet, but get ready public. It is coming.

In a side note, don't you wish they would have one of these for measuring your productivity!?
