Facebook break

I'm not really religious, but the idea of giving something up for forty days is something that appeals to me. I'm all for challenges.

I read a funny article about giving up social networking for lent in the Chicago Tribune. There are even practical suggestions about how to go about doing this. There are umpteen articles about the pros and cons of social networking sites, but for me, while I love keeping up with people I can't speak to on a regular basis, it is a time sync.

So I decided this am. I'm giving up Facebook for lent.
