Birthday resolutions

I was asking a friend about what her birthday resolutions this week.
My birthday is at the beginning of January and hence I always try to make a clean sweep in my life especially since I'm a year older.
She said she wanted to more globally conscious. One specific thing that came up was very basic: geography!
