Esty

So recently I found out that two fabulously creative people have been selling stuff on this site called Esty.

It is a sort of e-bay of homemade things. There are all sorts of things on the site, and it is a great way to browse for gifts. You can also shop by categories, for instance by color, or shop locally to support local artists.

The site lists their mission as "enabl[ing] people to make a living making things, and to reconnect makers with buyers. [Their] vision is to build a new economy and present a better choice: Buy, Sell, and Live Handmade"

While that is a great mission, it is also pretty practical.

Check out my friends' sites, as well as the concept, at esty.com

Mulberry Street sells crocheted clothing and accessories. Featured here.

Animalicules sells small stuffed animals and other cute little things.
